Squareball provided Identity and Access Management consultancy as well as a full service digital product team for the world’s leading crop nutrition company to create a customer and workforce Identity platform that vastly improved end-user experience and offered Yara a more sophisticated view of their customers and segments.
Yara International approached Squareball in 2017 in order to establish their first full service product team in Berlin and we have been key partners ever since.
Our engagement began with the discovery and definition phases for an Identity Management and SSO platform, led by our UX and Technical lead. During this process, we identified the key stakeholders, solutions and therefore requirements to move into the next phase.
UX research, prototyping and iterations fleshed out the wireframes and flows needed whilst the technical specification centered upon codified container based architecture and a JAMStack technology focus, aligned with Yara's own Digital Labs.
Product management has been led by Squareball throughout, including overall strategy, planning, roadmap and rollout.
The solution delivers not only identity management for end users, but also an integration platform between the apps and services using the SSO service, enabling data sharing and efficiences for the internal development and marketing teams to benefit from.
At the heart of the solution architecture is Auth0, nominated by Squareball and chosen by the client in order to secure an enterprise grade IAM and Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) for all apps, products and platforms within the Yara eco-system.
Auth0 is a global leader in Identity-as-a-Service and is named as a Visionary by Gartner in its 2019 Magic Quadrant Report for the second year in a row. Squareball Digital is an official implementation partner for Auth0.
